H.E.
Sheikh Mohammed Khamis Hilal the owner of Al Majali Group
was a member of As’shura Council for two consecutive
sessions from Jan.1992 to Dec.1997. Earlier from 1976 he was
the Branch Manager of Masirah Island Ministry of Agriculture
and Fisheries branch for 12 years. During his tenure he
attended many courses related to fisheries and marine
navigation in Oman and the Far East. |

In 1982
“Al Majali Trading” was established in Masirah and
in 1987 new branches were opened in Al Khaluf. |

In 1992 H.E. Sheikh
Mohammed commenced a new business activity of
Ferrying Service from/to Masirah Island / Mainland
with a new landing craft “Al Shariyaha” and a few
other small marine boats. |

In 1993 a new Jetty was built at Ras Helf by Al
Majali Trading, Building & Contracting Division. |

IEarly
1995 the second Landing Craft “Al Shamkhiyah”
joined the company ferrying in Masirah. |

At the end of 1998 a new company “Al Majali
International SAOC” was established as a general
marine company. |
|
|
|
|
|
In the year 2000 a new fisheries company was formed
“Al Majali Industries LLC” meeting the stringent
European Standards as per the local ministry
requirements. |
